2017 Fantasy Football Rankings v6

Remember when I said I didn't think many rookie WRs will have much value this year (except for Corey Davis and maybe Kenny Golladay)?  Well scratch that because Zay Jones is now in a really good spot to be the #1 WR for Buffalo.  With Anquan Boldin deciding to retire last weekend, that basically leaves Jordan Matthews as Zay's main competition for targets.  And in case you don't know how I feel about Jordan Matthews, keep in mind when I moved him into my top-150 in my last rankings update, that was the first time he cracked that mark all year for me.  And all it took was for him to get shipped off to a team that just traded away their top WR.  Of course now the debate is who to have ranked higher: Jordan Matthews or the rookie?  You'll have to scroll past the top-100 to find out.

Image result for kareem huntBut the bigger news this week is who you no longer see on the list anymore: Julian Edelman, Spencer Ware, and Cameron Meredith.  All suffered season-ending knee injuries in Week 3 of the preseason and are done for the year.  Kareem Hunt shot way up my list, and I'm honestly not even sure I have him high enough.  I adjusted a few other guys in what will be my last preseason rankings update, so the next rankings will be for the Week 1 games.  Crush those drafts!

Cheers,
Bart

1. Le'Veon Bell
2. David Johnson
3. Antonio Brown
4. LeSean McCoy: Buffalo keeps losing WRs, so McCoy should get a ton of touches. Into my top-5.
5. Julio Jones
6. Mike Evans
7. Odell Beckham, Jr.
8. Devonta Freeman
9. A.J. Green
10. Michael Thomas
11. Jordy Nelson
12. Jay Ajayi
13. Jordan Howard
14. Melvin Gordon
15. DeMarco Murray
16. Rob Gronkowski: Up slightly with Edelman out. Obviously a beast when healthy.
17. Todd Gurley
18. Carlos Hyde
19. Doug Baldwin
20. Dez Bryant
21. Amari Cooper
22. Brandin Cooks: Up to this WR tier. Should also get more looks with no Edelman.
23. T.Y. Hilton: Down a couple more spots. Really starting to worry about Luck's throwing shoulder.
24. Lamar Miller
25. Isaiah Crowell
26. Ezekiel Elliott
27. Leonard Fournette
28. DeAndre Hopkins
29. Demaryius Thomas
30. Alshon Jeffery
31. Dalvin Cook: I know they're rookies, but I'm moving him and McCaffery up. I just have to.
32. Christian McCaffery: I mean, have you seen this guy play?!? And Cook may be clear lead back.
33. Davante Adams
34. Keenan Allen
35. Allen Robinson
36. Aaron Rodgers: Moving QBs down even more. Hard to justify drafting one super early.
37. Tom Brady: So Brady and Rodgers are both down to this QB tier with Brees.
38. Drew Brees
39. Ty Montgomery
40. Kareem Hunt: This feels high, but should be top RB and could be great keeper in my league.
41. Marshawn Lynch
42. Terrelle Pryor
43. Michael Crabtree
44. Travis Kelce: Third round felt a little high for him, so he's down to this tier with other TEs.
45. Greg Olsen
46. Jordan Reed
47. Jimmy Graham
48. Joe Mixon
49. Ameer Abdullah
50. Tyreek Hill

53. Sammy Watkins
54. Kelvin Benjamin
55. Golden Tate
56. Russell Wilson
57. Matt Ryan
58. Mark Ingram
59. Paul Perkins: A little worried about him being a feature back. Down a RB tier.

61. Bilal Powell
62. Terrance West
63. Frank Gore
64. Jarvis Landry
65. Jamison Crowder
66. Stefon Diggs
67. DeVante Parker: Looking like Cutler's favorite target. Up.
68. Brandon Marshall
69. Doug Martin: Suspended first 3 games, but could be workhorse after that. Up.
70. Rob Kelley
71. LeGarrette Blount: Rumblings in Philly aren't great around Blount. Down a RB tier.
72. Adrian Peterson
73. Derrick Henry: As I said in my preseason article, he could be this year's Tevin Coleman. Up!
74. Danny Woodhead
75. Darren McFadden
76. Corey Davis
77. Donte Moncrief: Dealing with (another) shoulder injury. He keeps sliding down my list.
78. Pierre Garcon
79. Tyrell Williams: Felt a little high, so moved him down a WR tier.
80. Emmanuel Sanders
81. Tyler Eifert
82. Kyle Rudolph
83. Andrew Luck: Looking more and more like he won't play Week 1. Down another QB tier.
84. Kirk Cousins
85. Marcus Mariota
86. Jameis Winston
87. Jonathan Stewart: Up to the top of this RB tier. I think he'll still have a big role (incl. TDs).
88. Tevin Coleman
89. Thomas Rawls
90. Jeremy Hill
91. Eddie Lacy
92. Matt Forte
93. Theo Riddick
94. Derek Carr
95. Dak Prescott
96. Cam Newton
97. Jeremy Maclin: Flacco's injury is scaring me away from Maclin. Back down a WR tier.
98. Willie Snead
99. John Brown: Two TDs in preseason Game 3. OK, JB. Back into top-100.
100. Eric Decker
101. Mike Gillislee: Hamstring injury allowing other RBs to shine in preseason. Down.
102. Jamaal Williams
103. Jonathan Williams: Up a RB tier. I think the Bills will run a ton, and he'll be involved.
104. Duke Johnson
105. Samaje Perine
106. Corey Coleman
107. Mike Wallace
108. Randall Cobb
109. DeSean Jackson
110. Jordan Matthews: Up a bit more with Boldin retiring. And yes, ahead of Zay Jones (for now)...
111. Latavius Murray
112. Darren Sproles
113. Jacquizz Rodgers
114. Giovani Bernard
115. C.J. Prosise: Can't seem to stay healthy. Down a RB tier.
116. Martellus Bennett
117. Delanie Walker
118. Zach Ertz
119. Philip Rivers
120. Matthew Stafford
121. Kevin White: Even though I'm keeping Jordan Howard, had to move up with Meredith injury.
122. Kenny Britt
123. Zay Jones: Moved up to this WR tier. Potential to be #1 WR for Buffalo.
124. Robby Anderson
125. Adam Thielen
126. Devin Funchess
127. Josh Doctson
128. Rishard Matthews
129. Eric Ebron: Separating these 3 into their own TE tier and moved down...
130. Hunter Henry
131. Jack Doyle
132. Charles Sims: Moved these two passing down RBs down a few.
133. Jalen Richard
134. Andy Dalton: Moved to the top of this QB tier. I like him a lot this year. Tons of weapons.
135. Carson Wentz: And moved him ahead of Big Ben. That's right.
136. Ben Roethlisberger
137. Chris Hogan: Wasn't even on my watch list, but now in my top-150 with Edelman injury.
138. Ted Ginn: Seems like he could be the #2 WR ahead of Snead. Up.
139. Austin Hooper: Felt he and Fleener needed to move up a bit as their own mini TE tier.
140. Coby Fleener
141. Shane Vereen: Moved to the top of this RB tier. Perkins not exactly lighting it up in preseason.
142. Alfred Morris: Up slightly too. Should have decent value, at least while Zeke's out.
143. Alvin Kamara
144. James White
145. Jamaal Charles: Down to this RB tier, mainly because I know I'll have Demaryius too.
146. Branden Oliver: Likely will get more touches than people realize. Up to this RB tier.
147. Chris Conley
148. Tyler Lockett
149. J.J. Nelson: Not sure he'd even be the #2 in Arizona if John Brown not healthy. Down.
150. Cole Beasley
151. Marvin Jones
152. Marqise Lee
153. Tyrod Taylor: Down two QB tiers. Losing Watkins/Boldin hurts, and still learning new offense.
154. Eli Manning: Moving Eli down to this newly formed QB tier as well.
155. Carson Palmer: And Palmer moves up to be in this tier.
156. Dwayne Allen: Up to the top of this TE tier. Could have a big year, even as #2 TE.
157. C.J. Fiedorowicz
158. Charles Clay: Added him to my Top-200. Someone has to catch balls in Buffalo!
159. Austin Sefarian-Jenkins
160. Evan Engram
161. Rex Burkhead: With Gillislee injured, Burkhead's name thrown around as Week 1 starter.
162. Wendell Smallwood: Added back to top-200. Some feel he could end up lead back in Philly.
163. Charcandrick West: Kareem Hunt won't get all the touches. West a sneaky good pick here.
164. T.J. Yeldon
165. Tim Hightower: Not sure if he's clear #2 RB behind Hyde. Down.
166. Dion Lewis: Maybe he'll end up being a slot receiver with Edelman out. Who knows? Up.
167. Chris Thompson
168. Kenny Golladay: I think I got a little too excited with him. Back down a WR tier.
169. Kenny Stills: Down a WR tier. Cutler has never been one to spread it around.
170. Allen Hurns
171. Sterling Shepard: OBJ & Marshall getting dinged up has me moving him up from watch list.
172. John Ross: Added to top-200. Seems like a great late round flyer.
173. Kendall Wright: Someone has to catch passes in Chicago. Added to top-200.
174. Taylor Gabriel

Devontae Booker: De'Angelo Henderson looking good in camp. Booker down to watch list.
De'Angelo Henderson: Booker can't get on the field, and De'Angelo is getting work in. Added.
